Quarry
Quarries use Fuel and Water to automatically mine large areas of blocks for you all the way down to bedrock level! Mined items come out the top of the quarry and can be collected with Item Pipes or Conveyor Belts. There are two sides on the quarry and you can put Water and Fuel into either side using Fluid Pipes. Fuel can be put into pipes using an Oil Refinery, and Water can be put into pipes using a Water Pump. Quarries work without water, but they will constantly overheat, and stop to cool down.
After placing a Quarry, choosing a size by interacting with it, and starting the quarry, it will try to build a frame around the dig area. The Quarry cannot start until all the frame blocks are placed, so mine away any blocks outside the caution tape that are in the way. Breaking the Quarry Machine will also remove the frame blocks.
If the quarry stops, you can always interact with it to see what’s wrong. It could be out of Fuel, Water, have reached bedrock level, or not have space for the quarry frame to place down.

Note: Fluids can only travel so far! To keep your systems running smoothly make sure your tanks or pumps aren't placed too far away.
Quarries do not function underwater.
